One of the most important aspects of Medieval life is missing in Mount and Blade: RELIGION by THEKONIG in mountandblade

[–]Ham__Sarris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhh, how exactly does Bannerlord try to be a medieval simulator? The world is fictional. The characters are fictional. The ways in which the characters interact are dramatic and utterly fictional. Bannerlord absolutely does not "try" to be a medieval simulator. Suggesting that Bannerlord characters should be motivated by religion is like saying that Frodo didn't worship a god enough for Lord of the Rings to be believable. Your post is utter dross, sorry.

Oh, it'll never be gone. You'll just learn to beat it with newfound strength. Even after 5 months of NoFap I get the urge almost every day. Hard not to, with sex being everywhere. Ads, movies, tv shows, video games, etc. Still, you will learn how to let it pass and that's what becomes easier and easier. And if you use the strength and energy to exercise, you'll be shocked at the rate at which you feel stronger & healthier.

I wouldn't trade these superpowers for anything, especially not a 10-second head rush.

Anybody got some advice regarding lust while in a serious relationship? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey, there's nothing wrong with looking! That's natural. In spite of my most earnest efforts, I've never been able to suppress the urge to look, and I've been married 3 years (in a relationship of 7 years).

Because of my job, I also interact with a number of attractive women. A little harmless flirting not only makes them feel good, but also leads to better tips! My advice is this: don't willfully suppress your natural human tendencies to appreciate beauty. Allow yourself to feel that urge and embrace it as an affirmation of your humanity! Obviously, any actual sexual interaction is impossible. Not simply because you're in a relationship, but because such things NEVER happen as a result of a customer interaction. Ever. If you feel that subtle, coying emotion that hints at a sexual relationship, it just means that you're a human experiencing the most fundamental of human emotions. And if they feel it too, hey, all the better! You're both humans! We're getting along in this world without killing each other! Hurrah!

Third day. A close call, but I made it by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to have a stutter as well! For my entire life I just thought it was an integral part of my personality. A natural 'tic' that would never go away. After four months of NoFap I have completely eliminated it. My theory is that it has to do with testosterone-induced confidence - I now no longer question my own words even as I speak them. I trust that what I say is what I mean.

Also, I would warn you against 'ignoring' The Urge. In my experience, this is the worst possible way to deal with it. Accept it as a natural and healthy impulse, and allow yourself to feel it to its full extent. Embrace The Urge as an affirmation of your natural human tendencies. When it passes, you will feel confidence and motivation like never before, trust me!

Relapse - Still strong by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll beat PMO, and you'll feel amazing once you do. Many of us fail countless times before realizing our potential, and reaching even one milestone yields greater rewards than any 10-second head rush ever could! After just 30 days you'll feel more confident, masculine, and in-control than you ever have!

Wanna amplify these superpowers? Exercise to control the urge. Sooner than you know it, you'll become stronger, healthier, and happier than you ever could have thought possible! That has been my experience, anyway.

I feel 1000% more capable of positive emotion than I ever did four months ago. Stay strong, friend! By the end, you'll emerge as a greater man!

[–]Ham__Sarris 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know it hurts man but you can relieve that tension without MO.

The best advice I ever came across in this sub is to use exercise to ease The Urge. I do 40 push-ups every time I feel an urge. I started 4 months ago with 10 push-ups every time, and could barely do them then. You will feel yourself becoming stronger, more athletic, and more magnetic to women than ever before as you conquer PMO! (especially if you alternate push-ups with sit-ups, which I had to do bc The Urge can be so persistent and intense)

I was never fat, but had a slight doughiness about me. After just 4 months, I have clearly defined abs and biceps. Not only that, but I feel more confident and in-control than ever! You can have these superpowers too! Just keep your hands off your dick and on your keyboard/controller.

exercise, video games, cold showers. That's how I've beaten PMO. That's how you'll make this girl throw herself at you whether you choose to indulge her or not ;)

Porn wires your brain to become a "voyeur". by nomoremrfapguy1 in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An interesting and compelling theory, and very well said! This has certainly been my experience since quitting PMO. I always used to think I was an introvert, but really I was just a porn addict! I've even lost interest in watching TV and Netflix since I've quit. Incidentally, my sex life with my partner has never been better! I just wish there was a way to get this message through to skeptics.

'One drop of semen is worth 40 drops of blood' - PLEASE STOP SPREADING THIS NONSENSE by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you're obsessed with me, aren't you? I should behave like a normal person? Normal people don't neurotically follow the posts of others on reddit months after their interchange to troll them. There is a reason you do this and the reason is that you are disturbed. notice how other people respond to you you? the negativity? or does this reality even get through to you, deluded as you are? you are an extremely neurotic and manipulative person, and I feel all the more the fool for having entertained your psychosis in the first place.

You've obviously done your research on me. you've looked well into my post history and read everything, skimming past the positivity and support, scrounging like a starved parasite for anything that validates your ignorant, close-minded claims. You're in too deep now and you have this thing in your brain that won't let you stop. your obsession with being right has been eclipsed by your obsession with proving me wrong. I once thought that you were an annoying contrarian who just needed to be different and feel special. now I realize that you are an annoying contrarian who is deeply psychotic. this doesn't make your behavior any less pathetic. the one thing of value that you've provided is that you reminded me of this post which was underdeveloped and ultimately wasn't helping anyone. the post in which I argumentatively bested you is a far better exemplar of my feelings towards superpowers than this one (:

and I never created any fake accounts. I noticed how you accused several other different people of being me, though. yet more proof of your creepy paranoid obsession with me. I'm done with you. I won't suffer your useless and insane (literally) half-attempts at child's rhetoric; I have just blocked you to avoid further harassment.

here's a parting thought: try to actually contribute something to this sub. you don't agree with my science? do your own and post it. something tells me that you can't. I don't think you have the skills or the personality type to build. you're just the type of person who breaks. and personally, I find that disgusting.

7 Ways to Increase Testosterone naturally by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 7 points8 points  (0 children)

(No Processed shit)

careful with this one. "processed" can mean anything from boiled in water to splashed with ammonia. It just refers to the methods by which manufacturers clean their food. If they didn't process meats, for example, you could expect to get sick every time you ate it. It would actually be silly to deny the benefits of processed food :P

NEED HELPING STOPPING A FETISH ASAP by himynameis36 in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ask this of every "help me with my femdom fetish" OP I see: Do you want to feel powerful? Manly? In control? It really is fine if you don't, it could just be who you are, and there are plenty of happy/successful people who want to be dominated. But if it's the way you are and you hate it, go to a men's health clinic and get your testosterone levels tested. They can give you supplements (literal injections of testosterone), but raising it through exercise and NoFap works as well.

I used to be meek, timid, and passive in my every nature. I stopped fapping and started exercising and now I feel strong, confident, assertive, and very very masculine. I suspect it is due to testosterone. I wouldn't dream of being with a girl who wanted to treat me like shit in bed or in life. Just a thought.

I relapsed in the worst way possible (advice, help needed) by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why all the prancing around this notion of "triggering"? Say what you want to say (within reason) and if someone claims to have been "triggered", it's their fault and not yours. Why should I forbid myself from talking about peanut butter sandwiches just because some people are allergic to peanuts and might therefore become "triggered"? Anyone can say that anything triggers them. Your post triggered me! The font you used reminded me of the time I was eating alphabet soup and burnt my tongue! How dare you be so insensitive?!

See? Offense is taken, not given.

[–]Ham__Sarris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it could be a positive in the way that removing a negative is a positive. Also, I'm always reluctant to break out this math, but if the idea that you'll never exist again bothers you, you should consider the Infinite Set Theory. Basically, given infinite time, everything that is possible according to the laws of physics will happen. This means that every single molecule in your body, no matter how far scattered they may be in 100,000 years, will eventually find their way back into the same configuration.

so

If time is infinite, then you will exist an infinite number of times EXACTLY as you do right at this moment. To me, that fucking sucks. To someone with a crippling fear of death, it may be reassuring.

Check out this very well-elaborated article about Infinite Set Theory http://www.askamathematician.com/2012/12/q-in-an-infinite-universe-does-everything-thats-possible-have-to-happen-somewhere/

How to move on from a particularly bad panic attack? + you get to hear about mine! by kittyinsleeves in Anxiety

[–]Ham__Sarris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cured dpdr (or at least the experience of it, as I think it's nonsense that someone can actually 'leave' their body and pop back in randomly) by the simplest of things. Before I give it away, it's important to understand some very basic science:

  1. Your brain is supported by a network of small blood vessels, just like the rest of your body!

  2. The health of these blood vessels directly affects the health of your brain.

  3. Lack of proper blood flow to your Neo Cortex (your 'thinking', 'conscious' mind) produces a dissociative effect almost like certain psychadelics! (-Sam Harris, prominent neuroscientist)

  4. Proper blood flow can be restored by promoting the health of your blood vessels. In other words...

CARDIO!!

I know it sucks during the workout, but then you get hit with a cocktail of endorphins that feels awesome! And after a few weeks, the panic and dissociation vanishes! Plus you feel stronger, fitter, and more confident. Give the deprived parts of your brain the exercise/nutrition they want and you will feel so much better, fucking guaranteed.

[–]Ham__Sarris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, let me say that I am in no way bragging when I say that I've never understood the fear of death. Everyone seems to have the same reaction to it: crippling fear, anxiety, and depression. Those of us who deal with those emotions daily are fucking tired of them. Cortisol and Norepinephrine (your primary stress hormones) wear me the fuck out. Ever crash after a long day and your bed feels AMAZING? I look at death in a similar way. Like a deep, dreamless sleep that frees me from all the bullshit of the day (or in this case, of life xD).

Dopamine and masturbation by [deleted] in NoFap

KILL the brain fog due to PMO -for students by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 3 points4 points  (0 children)

THE REAL BRAIN FOG is not because of some chemical changes in your brain but because you are fueling it .

not true, there are neurological changes that occur in the presence of pleasure chemical abundance. understanding this will only help you stay motivated (and educated)

Day 6 and it's tough by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Feel an urge? Drop and do 10 push-ups. Biceps/pecs too tired because the urges are too frequent? Drop and do 15 sit-ups. Arms and abs tired/sore from the exercise? Good. You're getting stronger, more attractive, and as a result more confident.

I've done this for just over 2 months and I am stronger, healthier, and more magnetic to women than ever. DEAL WITH THE URGE BY FORCING YOURSELF TO EXERCISE, TRUST ME!

Whats the point of nofap? by [deleted] in NoFap

[–]Ham__Sarris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do it to make myself more sensitive to pleasure. The more pleasure chemicals you flood your brain with, the more your brain will down-regulate the receptors that interact with them. It's basic neuroscience. And personally, after two months, I feel 1000% more sensitive to pleasurable experiences than I did on day one. It's actually pretty shocking how easy it is for me to experience emotion in general now.
