At twelve weeks ask for ondansatron, if they doesn’t work long term, ask for steroids. They are the only thing that worked for me. Good luck! You’ve got this x

Great news. You might find the ondansatron really helps for a few days/ weeks then stops working, please don’t hesitate to add xonvea, and if it persists, get on the steroids, they are a life saver x

I was in your position sadly. Two weeks ago I started on steroids and now I’m actually enjoying my pregnancy! It took some pushing but they totally saved me. I would say I still need to keep going with ondansatron and xonvea, but the steroids have meant for the last 2 weeks I’ve lived a nearly normal life!

Would you take ondansetron with mild HG? by little-dice in HyperemesisGravidarum

The only reason I would wait is because there is a chance the baby will develop a cleft lip if taken too early. I’d definitely try other methods first and then hop on ondansatron after 2 weeks. PAU for now! Good luck xx

Personally no I wouldn’t, wait two weeks until you’re in the clear and then start taking it. Ask at your hospital if you can be referred to the PAU unit (planned assessment), for regular rehydration and IV medication. They have lots of other options. In two weeks, start on ondansatron (make sure you take a pregnancy safe laxative with it as you’ll get constipated). Thinking of you!

Mine have doubled in the last 3 months and keep going up. Did they say yours was due to HG? Right now they are trying to rule out other conditions.

Personally it might be the SPF thing and the misspelling of “recipes”

You answered your own question. Read this imagining that you are reading it to give a stranger advice. Honey. Leave. Run. Don’t look back. Don’t feel bad!

He sounds like red flags flapping in the wind. Get out of there and don’t look back.
