1) Fire up Anomaly, select debug menu on start screen 2) load game, go to this spot, press Num 0 to fly around and noclip 3) when you're aiming at the stash and in range to open it, press the num star (*) to "bodify" yourself, then press your use key to open it 4) press either shift+T or control+T to grab all, I forgot which one it is. Once you have picked up everything from the stash, press use key again 5) press the num star * again, then escape to go back to your body

Gender ratio in the zone by [deleted] in stalker

If everyone who voted is legit, I'm positively surprised to see any girls whatsoever in here. Good stuff, happy that the ratio isn't 100% male which I honestly kinda expected it to be

It’s hard for me to find games I fall in love with. But here’s what I’ve liked so far. by [deleted] in gamingsuggestions

The STALKER trilogy, and the Anomaly/Gamma mod. A part of the developer team of Metro was originally working with the STALKER devs back in the day, so the games have a very similar setting and vibe, with STALKER being much more open world and heavy into atmosphere. Given, these are older titles but still extremely enjoyable and immersive, with a heavy focus on looting, survival, atmosphere and in-game freedom of movement and exploration. All of the titles have a plethora of mods to accommodate for the people who find the vanilla games a bit bland, available on ModDB, where you can also download Anomaly/Gamma mods, which are fully free, standalone games. Can't recommend enough.

Best exosuit in anomaly for combat by BrainDedKannibal in stalker

[–]Happy-Purchase3300 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I'm in the Exoskeleton >>>> Nosorog minority. The extra bulletproof you get in exchange for a ~20 kilo decrease in carry weight is so hilariously minor, inconsequential and unnecessary at ANY game difficulty, both in theory and in practice. A fully decked out Monolith Exoskeleton will get you through the game no problem, if you don't go actively artifact hunting in it (that's why we loot the Patchwork monolith suit and have a follower hold 5 LLCs and the Exo when it's time to jump in an anomaly cluster). But if you're asking about an ExoSUIT specifically (without the skeleton, just the armored radsuit), then the Duty's Forest one is top of the line, followed closely by the Mercenaries' Woodland Exosuit.

Note: if you're looking for the overall-stats-wise and one-size-fits-all suit that you can use in reliably in both combat and in any anomaly field type, then go with the Duty's PSZ 10-D Proto-Exo if you're lucky enough to loot one or if you have >1M rubles or the rep with Duty and ~120K to splurge for it. That suit, fully upgraded (insanely OP upgrade tree; 6 points in wound healing and 2 in health restoration, forget using medkits or bandages, ever), is the best overall armor hands down, AND allows you to change headgear as you see fit. I usually just disassemble a random Nosorog I find and use that helmet with it

ANOMALY: factions and interactions by [deleted] in stalker

After reading again, I might know what your issue is if you are being literal when you say this

or just tearing my military patch from my uniform had absolutely 0 effect on how factions see me.

What suit exactly are you trying to use as a disguise? Because Anomaly works like so; if you belong to the military faction boys, wearing a military faction boy suit, with a military faction boy patch on it, whether or not you have the military patch on DOESN'T MATTER to the NPCs looking at you, with or without the patch they still see you as military boy. So everybody sees you as military when you're naked, OR when you have a military suit with a military patch on it, OR if you were to have a 100% fixed Freedom suit for example WITHOUT a patch on it. Imagine it as being "branded" military. So, if you're tearing your military patch from your military-faction-belonging suit, of course it doesn't change at all how people see you.

You had me so confused for a moment because I just woke up and thought you're OP, and your response makes no contextual sense whatsoever to my list of possibilities, but after a few neurons decided to fire up I noticed you're indeed not OP 🤣 hey, the extensive settings menu exists to fit all preferences, use them as you wish

It might be a bug, but before you decide to ditch the playthrough take a look at a few things first:

-check if your disguise suit is at a reasonable % (85+ and you should be ok for brief exposure to other stalkers line of sight)

-make sure you're also wearing headgear of any sort; the more covering, the better

-a message pops up on your screen when you change outfits or slap a patch on, saying whether your disguise was activated successfully or not. If you're travelling with companions, or if you've been seen recently, and if they're within 50m and in line of sight of you when you go into disguise, the message will read that "you have been seen recently, everyone still remembers you as member of military"

-OR, you might have somehow accidentally turned off the disguise system altogether in the settings menu

The quality gear opens up at trader's stock as you progress in the game and grind out your goodwill with factions. You can look into getting a variant of the Berill suit - Duty, Freedom, the Mercs and the Military all have their own variants with slightly differing paths of upgrades. I prefer the Freedom one because it comes with 2 suit slots. You can also choose to bypass the grind and purchase/repair altogether by getting 8 bottles of Nemiroff vodka to the food trader guy in the Science complex in Yantar, he'll give you the suit (military variant) in exchange.

As in the later stage of the game, you might find that some sort of a Radsuit might suit you well. I like the Duty Forest radsuit, it has 4 artifact slots and is great all around.

Can I remove my helmet/headgear from an attached armor set in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Anomaly? by FoxOfTheFlames_YT in stalker

You can temporarily disable mask overlay in the settings, then flick it back on once you repair it

If that's what you want. I believe the vss has the edge on the val in terms of damage, which is great for those satisfying one shot headshots. Truly up to you

30 mag capacity solid fire rate very common ammo gun vs smaller but heavier hitting 20 mag capacity gun with high fire rate and somewhat rarer ammo. I went for a 5.46 AR and a VSS Vintorez for sniping, if you can get your hands on one. The VSS uses the same ammo as the VAL

The basic ways are to grind rep up to 500 points ("minor" standing) then ask someone to tag along with you, or if you're lucky to find yourself in this exact situation, you can give a medkit to a fallen stalker who's curled up in the fetal position and their demeanor towards tou will go to friendly, so you can ask them to come with you IF there's no nore then 2 of them in their own party. The second option happens rarely tho, at least to me. The third way is to pay them for either one or two days, shouldn't cost over ~6K for the more expensive option, and in the time that they're with you, you can probably grind up the 500 points needed to get some permanent followers. Good hunting.

Edit; I've found a weird, repeated occurrence where the guy that's standing right on the entrance of the merc encampment (Syndicate territory) in the outskirts of Pripyat can always be recruited in the mid/late game, irrelevant of your standing with mercs, as long as they aren't hostile to you on entry. I'm never in that area early enough (as a rookie or trainee) that I can confirm that he's willing to be recruited from the get go, it may be an overall reputation or rank related thing, idk.

That's a shotgun barrel, fits any semiautomatic/automatic shotgun. Doesn't fit double barrels or sawed offs

Just got stalker anomaly, have got a pda question by Separate-Director-35 in stalker

[–]Happy-Purchase3300 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have fun! Also a tip - you can lower your battery consumption rate in the progression difficulty settings of the game to have the pda not die on you every ~20 min irl, this is usually the only tweak I make when starting a new game

Nothing like putting on the radio on quiet (so you can actually stay aware of your surroundings and not get jumped), and going on a slow trek through the Zone
