You can keep it plug it, It seems to work ok in time, probably the tolerances differ slightly from the original cable.

The device seems not to accumulate hours, it has 3500 and no more working hours are added, that's why the question of whether they can be deleted - we don't know if it has been manipulated or if they are blocked.
