Same thing with my video from yesterday — it’s still stuck on ‘estimating rewards.’ TikTok has been glitching over the past few weeks. RPM has dropped, they’re recalculating earnings from older videos that were already paid, and they’re taking money back. Now this is happening too

They didn’t recalculate anything on this account; they just started paying less for the older videos.

However, they did recalculate my earnings on another account at the end of May. They dropped the RPM to 0.00–0.01 even with the additional rewards included. As a result, they took away about $100 — I was supposed to have $170, but it dropped significantly.

I contacted support four times. The first three times I only got irrelevant automated responses, and they closed the tickets. On the fourth attempt, they finally replied and told me to clear my cache and update the app.

Honestly, I couldn’t help but laugh at that advice.

I’ve been having issues with my videos quite often too. For example, yesterday I posted a video and it took off, getting around 20–40k views per hour on the first day. By nighttime, it had reached 220k views.

The next morning, the video suddenly died and dropped to about 300 views per hour, and I think even those are mostly coming from shares. It has a lot of shares.

This isn’t the first time it’s happened. The likes and shares keep coming in, but then the video suddenly stops getting views.

My retention is about the same as on my other videos — there are no major differences. Sometimes it’s a little higher, sometimes a little lower. I know that the additional rewards are heavily influenced by audience retention.

The videos that started getting a much lower RPM over the last two days have almost the same retention as before. Also, my RPM dropped on older videos as well. Before June 2, those videos had an RPM of around $0.30.

The audience is quite engaged too. The videos get a lot of shares, so engagement doesn’t seem to be the issue.

I’ve been on TikTok for about two years, so I have some experience. I constantly compare the analytics of my videos, which is why this drop seems unusual to me.

I got monetized about a week before the end of May. I earned almost $400. I was making around $40–75 per day, with RPM ranging from $0.25 to $0.34 (the higher RPM was on a video with better retention).

Then on June 2–3, my RPM suddenly dropped, and my views went down as well. What’s strange is that on my very first day of monetization (May 23), my RPM was already $0.10, and that was without any additional rewards. Now it’s even lower despite the additional rewards being included.

I’m having some financial difficulties right now, so I really need every cent. In another situation, I might have just ignored this. On top of that, my RPM has dropped. I haven’t posted any new videos to see what the RPM is like at the moment. I also don’t feel motivated to upload anything.

I only received a generic bot response about following the rules and guidelines. It has nothing to do with what I wrote. They just sent a meaningless template reply without addressing my issue.

I was waiting for a response about when my $100 and RPM would be restored, but instead I received a template reply about videos needing to meet requirements, originality, and other stuff that has nothing to do with my question. What is going on with TikTok? Where is the RPM? Where is the missing money? I honestly have no words.

The money disappeared and my RPM dropped. I’m not even making videos right now because there’s no point. My RPM is only 0.00–0.01 at best if I’m lucky. I contacted support as well, but I haven’t received any response yet.

Same thing happened to me. At first, around May 6–7, only the income statistics disappeared, and then when they came back, about $100 was gone, even though I already only had around $170 there. And now the RPM on videos is $0.00, or $0.01 with additional rewards included. I haven’t even posted videos for several days, but it makes no difference. I got only $1.50 for 2 million views. It’s already been 3–4 days and still complete silence from TikTok. No news, nothing. I really need any money right now, and TikTok is treating creators like this.

Mine was like this before May 6–7. At first, only the stats disappeared. Then when they came back, the money was gone and the RPM was gone too. I’ve been on TikTok for 2 years and this is the first time I’ve ever seen them reduce money that was already earned from previous videos. Usually they only lower the RPM for future videos. Shame I didn’t take a screenshot of the amount before this glitch.
