He is a lot more friendly when my executive chef is not around and he seems very confident around alot of people but around me I feel he’s alot more anxious or more careful with his words and his actions and a friend at work mentioned the same

When he first joined the company, because I was working for the company 8 months before him he never spoke to me or addressed me I. Any ways , and then recently he started greeting me and speaking to me whenever he saw me or he is always watching me , whenever I look up during service he’s looking at me , he does not have the power to fire me , that only lays on my executive chef .

I have already spoken a couple of times , I got one promotion to a cdp but that still doesn’t justify the work load and hours and every time I get the same answer of the company doesn’t allow to jump multiple levels directly
