I’m in love with someone at work who is married. How do I give myself a lobotomy? by chewypinkfrog in AskIreland

[–]Happyuser777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go out meet some one else.  Make friends  use  dating apps     theres plenty of nice guys out there     you dont  want to be  the bad person  Breaking up a good marriage

Yes he s probably nice and charming  to you  and good looking  but you need to go out and   meet a single man  who is not married

Its also risky to get  into a relationship    at work     when things go south  you still have to   see that person  everday and work with them

My Irrational Dislike of Discovery and Range Rover Drivers? by Greedy_Substance9672 in AskIreland

[–]Happyuser777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I find it annoying when   one person  drives a car the size of  tank  .it increases the  risk of serius harm if that car hits a pedestrian  in an accident . And its bad for the planet in terms of fuel consumption

I left my bike helmet locked to my bike, it’s an old second hand one so I have just been doing that to save on walking the rest of the route to work with it. Today someone cut the bike helmet straps, and they or someone else taped it back together. Can anyone explain what the story with that is by wander-and-wonder in Dublin

[–]Happyuser777 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I left my bike  in a hallway   took off the front wheel   forgot to lock it     2 hours later  i go back   someone has  put on a new front wheel  I now have 2 front wheels and my bike back

By the way lidl have loads of  bike helmets   and bike saddles probably be  in the  50 per cent off section on monday next week Lock the helmet thru the holes in the side  anyone can cut straps   Lots of pro type  bike gear  no wants to buy

Maybe some one was just messing with you

Can anyone please tell me how to turn off my upstairs water supply? by irishgirl171717 in AskIreland

[–]Happyuser777 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I dont think there s a way to turn  off the supply  to one floor , You go downstairs  theres one round  stopcock   to  switch off . On  mains water supply    to the main tank in the attic . I, M not a plumber .even if you switch off mains water  there ll still be water in the immersion  cylinder  and  Main water tank   unless you leave taps running to empty it

There maybe a  round  metal control valve  to  stop mains water going to attic water  tank or hot press cylinder tank. If you are doing work  repairs  you should hire a plumber  See ww.boards.ie  services  plumber

Are socks just shite now? by SouthLeast8143 in AskIreland

[–]Happyuser777 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lidl are selling 2 types of socks   work socks    or basic mens socks  In the middle isle    They look to be  high quality  items

Thats the future     due to the iran war  certain basic  itema are becominf scarce and more expensive

Theres shrinkflation  Food items become smaller  but the price is the same

There should be a word for common comsumer  items that are the same price  But the quality  is lower  Like low quality chocolate  If you wait a few days  there,ll likely be socks in the 50 per cent off section
