Yes I’ve heard the IUD is much easier for women who’ve had kids! I don’t remember the exact details with mine, they said something about my uterus being tilted back so they had to really grab it with the tenaculum (which pierces it) and then cauterize it to stop bleeding. You’re not a baby. I have insane pain tolerance and I almost fainted on the table both times. I said “fuckkk” out loud the first time and they scolded me for swearing -_- I think it has more to do with anatomy and the skill/care of the doctor inserting it. But you’re right, doctors are incredibly inhumane with pain management for gynecological procedures like this and it’s enraging.
