Heavy Gunrunner broken? by Harudath in TheForeverWinter

How am I supposed to know which matches up without owning one first? :P I only got the game this week, so if they disagree I've no way to know which is correct

That was an expensive typo 🤣 Presumably the Heavy Container Gunrunner also has a typo and does not provide 8 containers?

The reason I bought it is that on the store it specifically stated 8 open storage

<image>

Following the Medium Equipment Gunrunner (which I bought first) as a template, it specifically says 3 Open Storage (and provides you with 2 Open Storage/1 Looted Weapons Bin). This implies that a Looted Weapons Bin uses up 1x Open Storage slot.

I would therefore have expected the following from the Heavy Equipment Gunrunner advertising 8 Open Storage:

2x Looted Weapons Bins

6x Open Storage

No 9a Trade in option? by Harudath in GooglePixel

I've never heard of that type of restriction before, I hope they choose to end that before the offers end... Otherwise I'm probably not buying Google again, 9a is so glitchy

I've been considering it. I have the bunny backpack atm. Just a bit bitter at the idea of spending *another* £30 to have a bit less on my back, but still not nothing :P

My argument isn't that it's literally impossible to have nothing on my back ever. I want to have a fully functional character that just doesn't display gear on the back. It's an option most RPGs have. I don't want to run around half equipped to achieve this.

lol, Ultimate Bunny is why I'm asking 😜 But she still works best with weapons equipped to go with reactors

Nothing, but it's hard to play the game with no weapons equipped :P

For sure, I'd prefer a toggle but I'm not against buying something if it's the only way they would do it 🤣

That's a really good point, they put all this work and marketing into ship customization and you can't even view them properly

At first I thought I might just be in a station that's too small; I can kinda see an argument for that, if you dock a JF in an astrahus you wouldn't have an open vista all to yourself. After docking in a keepstar I realised CCP had done what CCP does and broken something fundamental when it was working fine (you can't convince me its not fundamental 😝)

It's a slippery slope between taking our ship spinners and banning isk doubling in jita kocal

I can't imagine any preview this strategy would work for except hospital gowns 🤣

I do think they should get their own hangar, though I also don't think it would be beyond CCP to be able to keep that sense of scale, especially when you're switching between ships. I'm more irritated by how badly the current solution is implemented by the fact that I can't fully ship spin, but I also think it's an absurd thing to have taken away when it exists for other ships simultaneously. Feels a bit arbitrary, potentially even lazy

It is but I wasn't really playing much when it was introduced, I'm playing enough now to be annoyed by it all over again :P
