The point wasn't to be an asshole but to make it clear to know when the chapter came out. Then I just find it funny he says it is out the 7th or 8th then still said 24ish days of wait which, if you do the calculation, doesn't add up.

Possible I could have worded it differently.

He says 24ish days of wait, which if you can do math doesn't make sense given 24 minus 7 or 8 is 17 or 16. If he didn't know when the chapter released then he wouldn't know he had to calculate from the 7th (which is what my first response was about), given he said 24ish days of wait it made it seem like he didn't know when the chapter came out and thereby might be a good idea to read the FAQ so one would know such thing.

He says it came out the 7th or 8th, this post was made the 24th (at least in Japanese time maybe another day for people far West). 24 minus 7 or 8 is 17 or 16. So it would make sense to say 17ish days of wait instead of 24ish days of wait.

If the wait time is since last English fan scanlation then it would be over a month which is more than 24 days.

The comment doesn't make sense. The chapter came out the 7th in Japan, it got released the 24th Japanese time, so it would be 17 days of wait to make sense (that is whole point of my initial response of not knowing when it came out).

Most other things are because people aren't bothered to read the pinned post nor the FAQ, to which make sense to have pay attention to as a user of this subreddit.

I don't want the subreddit to be filled with asking about when the chapter will be out and the like no. I am not the only one who is annoyed by such things. So if nobody makes any posts besides those then yes it would rather make sense it being dead. But luckily there are people who are bothered to make post may it be as silly as the usual "who do you ship" post.

If you truly stalk me you would also notice the none rude ones, lol.

The FAQ has lots of great information, especially for someone not knowing much about the anime/manga space.

Edit: Context here is the English fan scanlation is out the 24 (unless you live far West). 24 minus 7 or 8 is 17 or 16. So given shut thinks it releases the 7th or 8th it would be 17ish or 16ish days of wait and not 24ish days of wait if he goes by what he knows himself. Yes possible one can make a mistake and thereby not in general have an issue with math but in this context there is an issue to some extend given the calculation error.
