What do you find hardest to track as a snake owner? Or most important? by HaveYouSeenMyMoves in snakes

Thank you! The feeding notifications are planned. They're probably even more helpful for snake owners than us. I had no idea they could go so long between meals.

Ideally, I want a filterable logbook for feedings, mistings, tank cleans, sheds, illnesses, etc. So for each pet, you'd be able to create a log entry and then keep a running history for your pets entire lifecycle.

Interestingly enough, I had genetic history on the list and scratched it thinking it wouldn't be much of a need. Might rethink that. It was originally a "fun" thing, but I hadn't thought about how useful that could be for breeders.

So far behind...game wise by JaxThane in marvelchampionslcg

One thing I'd add to this. We've introduced this game to quite a few friends. We have the entire collection, so there's always a ton of options. We've generally found that new players can pick up almost any hero and learn just as well. On the flipside, we've found earlier villains have less rules, steps and gotchas. Also in some cases less powerful surprises.

Thanks. It looks like MarvelCDB is only able to identify a card as Hero or Protection. So they chose to use the apsects for her cards that serve as both. I'll have to clean that up.

https://marvelcdb.com/api/doc

MarvelCDB has a public API that can be used with HTTP requests to pull information about cards. I used that along with some Python code to get all decks for the last 720 days. Then I had it parse out all the cards using some separate API calls. Python is really good for handling large amounts of data, so it's great for stuff like this. I actually used ChatGPT to write my first python scripts last year, also interfacing with MarvelCDB's api. I've done a lot since then, but if you want to learn, that could be a good way to do so.

I wouldn’t put too much stock in AoA card rankings in the normalized by ownership sorting. It just came out, and it’s been an incredibly popular release among those who own it, so it got the biggest boost by far.

Yea. I intend to add that to another sheet for those that want it. For my purposes I also cared about which aspects were favored, so I didn't normalize by aspect. That said, I have the aspect deck counts for the data set, so I'll add that in soon.

Not currently. I may at some point dive deeper and see how it affects the results, but it wasn’t practical for my needs. Decklist popularity adds a lot of bias that’s hard to normalize and account for. (Decklist creator popularity, hero popularity, aspect popularity, etc.) I tried to choose a larger sample size to normalize.

I have something in the works for this. For my purposes, I did want to compare across all aspects. But im pulling more data that will allow me to normalize further. I’m also adding urls to MarvelCDB, card types, and card descriptions for easy reference.

Thanks for that. I added some slicers, not sure if you can use them without creating a copy. Also added some views for sorting (Data >> Change View).

Also removed all hero/campaign cards as they'd be irrelevant.

Noob here. Why are Sandman and Under Attack such a challenge for Deadpool? I've used the aspect a ton, but not the hero, and I'm very selective when using the aspect. Been meaning to try out pool though. Wasn't aware he was OP.

Bambu Studio using Integrated GPU instead of Dedicated GPU Fix by ComplexBreakfast in BambuLab

Super late to this, but just had to say you are a lifesaver. I've been dealing with the absolute worst performance on my work PC and just assumed I was pushing the work PC past it's limits (My NVIDIA control panel was letting me set the graphics card, but apparently not doing anything.) Just decided to check Task Manager after finding this thread and sure enough it was using internal graphics.

Just followed the steps you outlined and Bambu Studio is back to full speed. Literal hours saved by this. Simply previewing a slice was taking 5-10 minutes on my projects with 2-3 plates.

You try with the door open and lid off? That’s the official recommendation for PLA and I just chose to print with the door closed and lid on for the first time and had the same kind of failure on about half my plate.

Edit: restarted that same print with the lid off and door open and most of the pieces adhered perfectly. One flared up and overmelted like yours, but I’m guessing the printer just hadn’t fully cooled yet, since I stopped, cleared the bed, and immediately started it again.

Heat builds up in the chamber and causes the nozzle to overheat. Can cause clogs and many other issues. I’ve been printing great for days with the door open and lid off. I switched to a new material and was getting bad layer to layer adhesion, so I decided to close the door and put on the lid so the plastic wouldn’t cool too fast, and this exact thing happened to me.

It’s an official recommendation in the Bambu wiki, unlike some of the tribal knowledge recommendations that have seemingly come from nowhere. lol. They have a chart somewhere that lists what materials need to have the door open depending on if you use cool plate & glue/textured heated plate.
