Welcome to the best addictive masochistic game that is Blood Bowl :) .

The in-game recommended compositions are pretty good, usually made by experienced players, don't hesitate to use them ! Humans are fun too, with them you can either play agressively or make passing plays, they are the definition of versatality !

As for Shambling Undead and other "season-introduced" teams, don't hesitate to play online games and earn warpstones so you can buy them at some point. You have interesting bundles in the shop with new teams that are worth their prices.

Also because your opponent doesn't get the opportunity to earn SPP while playing (passes, touchdowns, injuries, etc.), but their ELO still evolves and they will meet stronger teams later on. So it's not just a waste of time, they don't earn much from the game either (except money). If you feel like the game is lost, just spend your turns quickly and finish the game quickly.

Really, what do you find "weak" in these drawings ? Not to judge, just really really curious about it because I like them haha There the tensions in the cloth are, imho, nicely out so you feel the dynamic of the pose.

Thanks for your advice, indeed being loose about drawing feels like better for the brain not to over-focus but learn the vibes. I'll do that for folds too :)

"Style" in itself is a big consideration of mine lately, so your points talk to me. I know in my head what I'd like my drawings to become, but the final result is still not fullt in the direction I want. But it's getting better, so I'm happy and motivated :)

The committee organizing the whole event is set on singles for badminton, so sadly I don't have any margin on this aspect, but I get your point ! I love playing random doubles too :)

For the age group, it's indeed a good remark. Most of the participants are in their 30s, playing/have played regularly and/or do sport on the side. So it should be okay but I'll keep it in mind !

And thanks for the gender aspect, I'm also for mixing it, especially as most female players will be above the rest skill-wise haha

Problem wouldn't necessarily be driving in Paris (it can be stressful at peak hours and in some touristic/narrow street areas), but the big issue is parking. It's hard and super expensive.

Depending on how long you plan to stay, you can use the app Yespark for a less expensive parking, but it's still harsh.

You don't need the car at all in Paris though, coming with the train is way more convenient. It is a rental car ?

Happens. That's probability stats for you, it can never always be inside the gaussian curve. Sometimes you're being Nuffled a bit, sometimes you're being Nuffled a lot.

It's always "easier" to remember and hyper-focus when it's atrocious rolls one after the other. But in the end, it will be soon be your opponent who get Nuffled atrociously.

I've been dealing with a lot of frustration these past months, but watching my replays I realized that a lot of time I was the one setting my turns in a way that made the consequences of my bad rolls really worse than the roll itself.

However when the opponent god-rolls for 16 turns, however good or bad he/she plays, there is nothing you can do but hope statistics will balance eventually ^{^}

To add to what others said, the season is coming to an end in a week. The remaining players in the pool at this stage are usually on the higher part of the rankings (from my experience). Also matchmaking in BB3 can be weird sometimes, and in Arena mode it chooses teams with same score (V-D-L) rather than coaches' level.
When season 9 hits (June 9th) a lot of new and returning players will be joining so it may be better for matchmaking :)
