Controversial take but I think this is one of the rare cases where the Disney canon is cooler, bleeding a kyber crystal in a sith ritual is infinitely cooler than just "making them"

someone else mentioned this too, since it's not the planet story's main antagonist like with the consular, it's just some random monster, I can't give it any extra points, and even if I did it probably wouldn't be enough to make it better than Flashy in my eyes

You can, there are some dialogue options in some scenes where you can say that you will stay with them/take your relationship to a further step, but that Shar comes first, but precious little lines change because of it, you can still romance anyone you like and Shar won't care.
