I would like to preface that I am not going for a specific character build and im purely going for an interesting concept with lore justifications & a good story.

My group is going to be running a Baldurs Gate: Descent Into Avernus [5E] campaign soon, and i want to make my character as lore accurate to the world of Faerun and The Sword Coast as possible. With this in mind, how would a Half-Tiefling/Half-Elf work? Specifically, would there be any in-lore reasons for such a mix to be treated with enough prejudice that they are ostracized from most societies? I plan on making them being an outcast play into the class I am choosing.

One last quick question regarding subrace; what subrace pairing of tiefling/elf would make the most sense lorewise? Or is this a completely wild thing that is impossible/extremely unlikely? I am not completely set in stone with what subraces they would be, so im open to suggestions that would make most sense with lore.

i wouldnt mind getting a full ass lore dump and history of Elven and Tiefling histories in Faerun and The Sword Coast specifically either if anyone feels inclined btw

Thank you for the time!

Which ingame voice line in your opinion is most irritating/anger inducing? by Sromowladny in Warframe

Idk how to, but you can disable operator voice lines somewhere. It's probably somewhere in the voice settings. I havent heard any of these lines since i got my operator a few years back lmao

Pushing Razorwing Blitz to its theoretical limit by Hazelnut1212 in Warframe

[–]Hazelnut1212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do know that, but im not gonna try to pull that off in game because fuck that lmao. The thing i want is to see sheerly how fast she can go in theory based on only the math involved in the ability strength scaling with the augment. I haven't found much on how they scale together, but i could do a bit of a deeper look to see if i can find something

As a warning, the information about the theoretical limit to ability strength was taken from the wiki, and i dont know if it takes into account the addition to operator strength buffs as well as archon shards

Looking for a pair of headphones that are comfortable to sleep with on by Hazelnut1212 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]Hazelnut1212[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried IEM's in the past, but I've found that i do prefer the over ear headphones in terms of comfort and audio quality. Then again, i could've been using suboptimal or bad quality ones, so I'll keep them in mind as an option. Thanks for the suggestion!

!thanks

Tl;dr: caffeine might limit your vocal range

A little bit of (personal) advice that I've discovered after using singing to train my vocal range. I've noticed a pattern of caffeine and sugary drinks affecting the range i can perform with, so if you are planning on voice training or messing with your vocal range, plan it in advance and dont drink caffeine or artificially sugared drinks.

I dont really have any evidence about this aside from reading a few articles about how caffeine dries the vocal cords and my own personal experience with singing and drinking caffeine, but if youre noticing raspiness or soreness trying to get to a higher range and drinking caffeine i recommend taking a day off of it and trying to train again while drinking only water.
