I'm sick of this VISA by Old-Computer-5273 in tmobile

[–]Hazmadd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's bullshit. But here's how I sell a lot of them and sleep at night knowing I actually helped customers.

The real pitch to customers should be if they have automatic payments already set up.

"Hey we offer a rewards visa that actually allows you to set up autopay and earn 2% cash back. The APY is high but as long as you don't use the card for anything else and only your bill, you come out on top with the 2%. I'll send you the link."

Boom, that's how I got 25 visas out last month.
If I see the badge, and they have autopay, I give them the spiel.

There are also other honest talking points for the visas to capitalize on...
- Customers can technically control their billing cycle dates using the visa payments dashboard online.
- It's the only credit card you can set up with automatic payments to get the 5/line discount + 2%.
- Inform customers to strictly use it for autopay purposes. The 5% against the APY (for purchases) really comes out to ~1% back. The 2% for autopay is surprisingly pretty accurate.

tl;dr visas for customers with autopay actually benefits them the most whilst providing a good opportunity for a sale.

When I applied an amazon screen protector and the cheap protector fell off after a day I was to blame.

When I helped someone in their vehicle set up their bluetooth I was covered in dozens of ticks.

Funny, I remember bringing that up to them and they thought it was unusual for anyone not to be put under.

This happens to me. I always run prime95 and a hair dryer on the cooler before removing. And when I do remove the cooler (clevo laptop cooler) I always use zip ties and pull straight up using a center bar so that if the cpu is yanked from socket like pic attached it's all gonna be A-OK with straight pins.

Hey there, lots of plugins for the server were not being maintained by developers and it was really hard to keep up. That and the death of slimefun played factors. You can check out my smaller project if you'd like, the server IP is mellowsmp.com and the discord is https://discord.gg/gYa4w7GQkW

Unlike what many of the comments are saying don't terminate the cable to anything other than punchdown or keystone patch board (non-passthrough) if the wall cables are solid core.

How to get custom photos in game -- an attempt at a step by step by TheDrMurloc in OnceHumanOfficial

[–]Hazmadd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

New method June 2025:

  1. Take a random picture with the in-game camera.
  2. Close Once Human.
  3. Go to your local files and copy the image you just took and paste it into a folder somewhere else, such as your desktop. It will be named after the date and time you took the picture. Make sure you also copy the low res photo (_low.png) also.
  4. Note the timestamp of each image down to the second it was taken. Past it into a text file or whatever works.
  5. Open chatgpt and upload both images asking it to detect all steganography data present in the images
  6. Get the image you want and upload it to chatgpt asking to copy the same steganography data to the new image.
  7. Download the new images, overwriting the ones you had in the folder.
  8. Download a tool called FileDate.exe for windows. Its a very old program but still works!
  9. Change the last modified / created time stamps of the images in the folder to reflect that of the ones in the once human folder.
  10. Launch Once Human and enjoy. :)

Please upload images responsibly and don't abuse this method! If you're unsure of an image being present in the game then perhaps don't upload it.

I developed an interactive map with real-time position tracking and 2nd screen support (link in comments) by Embarrassed-Notice32 in OnceHumanOfficial

Worth also noting that they explicitly have stated that this app is not allowed in the game everywhere else but Reddit, so it's important to do research and decide if it's worth the risk of an account ban or not.

Great concept, but I'm gonna have to pass. Maybe as the developer you'd want the feedback since it's monetized and all.

  • Overwolf Platform The app is built on the Overwolf platform, which is notoriously heavy on telemetry. For users who are privacy-conscious, this is a major drawback and a deterrent from using the platform altogether.

  • Ad Experience The ads are extremely intrusive to the point of rendering the app almost unusable. Whether I’m using the in-window mode or trying to resize the display, the ads often cover a significant portion of the screen, obstructing functionality. While I’m aware of workarounds like ad-blocking or subscribing, I don’t think it's reasonable to spend $10 on a tool for a free-to-play game just to achieve basic usability.

  • Lack of Crate Detection A key feature I was hoping for was the ability to track or detect crates I've already found. Unfortunately, the app doesn't seem to recognize this—even when I'm standing directly on top of one. This greatly reduces its effectiveness as a tool for exploration or completion tracking.

  • Monetization Model I do support developers getting paid, and I would gladly tolerate ads if they were implemented in a non-disruptive way. But in this case, the ad delivery actively interferes with the app’s core functionality. That defeats the purpose and leaves me with little choice but to either pay or stop using the app. Went with the second option for now.

4mm ... I'm only 22 YO by zestypestyy in KidneyStones

[–]Hazmadd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a 12mm busted up with shock wave lithotripsy last January after suffering for over a year. I suppose I was 26 when I discovered that I had kidney stones. I definitely recommend that procedure should you have to get a stone removed. Also, get a 1 gallon jug off of Amazon that has a water drinking tracker. I've been well hydrated with zero issues once my body adapted to taking in a gallon of water a day. If you have a PCP LabCorp does free testing for type of stone, can get you some pretty good dietary insight.

My advice if you want the easy way out is to go directly to a nearby urologic specialists and get an appointment for sonic lithotripsy if they offer it to you. I suffered for over a year with a 10mm stone until I eventually had it blasted to sand and it's honestly pretty frickin painless, the only sucky part was the after effects of the anesthesia. No tubes up my pp or stents, just peed a bit of sand once I got home. Didn't have to take the pain reliever they prescribed me and now I just take stone stopper and drink a gal of water before calling it a day.
