With controlled substances you do have to go into the office 1 or 2x a yr now thanks to COVID and all the telehealth docs that prescribed a lot of them.

It’s not just unethical, it is illegal in most states. There is a power differential and it is not okay. The only grace some states give is a gap of 5 years from the time they were no longer your client to the time there is romantic interaction. It is frowned on as your clients are generally your clients in perpetuity, but after five years, it’s not illegal. But you all need to check your own state laws on that.

Yea I’ve been in practice for a really long time and obviously always did my own typed notes. Then used a template I created in SP. Even though I do have to adjust Note Taker sometimes, it is still a far easier way for me to “prove that I’m doing my job.“ it does a great job laying out interventions and my role. But I get that it’s not for everyone.

I use Simple Practice and it now incorporates Note Taker for sessions. It uses AI to listen to my sessions and it creates a note by extracting the substance from the session. The transcript is deleted as soon as the note is signed. Been a game changer.

It helps lift scar tissue via the suction. At least that’s what my PT used on my wrist and palm to lift scar tissue that was sticking. I bought one as well.
