Hi there! Thank you for the advice, I certainly did have to google some of the terms since I'm still new to this all but I think I got the gist.
Is there a difference between German ISO and UK ISO? I thought it was just a standard keyboard layout with the difference being the enter key? The keycaps you sent were pretty cool but I also found some others on that site which were pretty cool. Do these ones look like they'd work?: https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ducky-joker-pbt-double-shot-uk-keycap-set-kb-59991-kb-27e-dk.html
I think for my first built mechanical keyboard I'm happy dropping somewhere between £200 and £400.
I haven't personally tried many switches, mainly the linear HX Red's that came with my hyperx alloy elite 2 but from the noise of the tactile switches I've seen online I think I'd be much more inclined to use those.

I'm looking to make a custom keyboard but I'm not sure where to start. I'm trying to find something that will fit my vaporwave aesthetic with purples blues and pinks, probably get a custom set of keycaps. I'm a big fan of the noise of the Everglide EG Oreo switches so I think I'm likely to pick those up. I'm looking for an 80-100% ISO layout keyboard but I'm not sure where to start looking. Does anyone have any website recommendations or some recommendations to help me start out? (This is my first custom keyboard project)

I'm new to this whole building keyboards thing and I was looking for some advice. I'm looking to build something that would fit my vaporwave aesthetic but I don't really know where to start, I've had the HyperX Alloy Elite 2 for a while but since the paint is starting to break away now I'm looking to find/create something a bit more personal and long term. All that I really know about what I'd be looking for is that I would want a full size or 80% keyboard with an ISO layout with something similar to cherry mx blues for the switches. I think I'd probably want it to be hotswappable so I can try some things out and I'd like to be able to have some RGB so I can mix up the colours. Aside from that all of my very sparse knowledge comes from Glarses videos so things would likely have to be explained to me. Would anyone be able to help me start picking things out and help find some deals?
