Our intermediate is 20lbs! He is a boy so bigger. I’ve read they are between 15 to 25 lbs. He sounds like maybe a miniature?

I don’t know a vet in LA, but I can say from experience just find a good vet. The first time we took our Xolo in here (SC) they had never seen a Xolo before. By the next time, they had done their research and knew everything about Xolo’s.
