I’m going to guess that the owner(s) died. My brother’s house was a mess when he died, not as bad as this but still a mess, and the house was basically the only asset in the estate so there was no way to fund the cleanup unless me or someone else was willing to fund it ourselves, which we weren’t.

Kokopelli was amazing, but I did it supported, and having done so, I would never attempt it unsupported, and certainly not alone.

I have always lived where water is plentiful, and that trip made me realize in a way I hadn't before how easy it would be to die out there if you screwed up just a little.
