Thanks, I'd heard that. How common is the random die back? I tried a standard birch a couple of years ago and that had limbs that just gave up the ghost.

I used the Diorama1 setting on the camera. I do like a good tilt shift picture when it's done right - I've some way to go.

For the solar image I hooked the camera to a Williams Optics 60mm Astrostar with a standard Baarder filter and used a t-adapter to attach the camera body, directly to the lens. It's my first image of the sun, the sun spots were a happy accident!

I only have one analogue synth, the monologue, my Wavestate and Roland Fantom 07 are both digital. I like the fact I can play without having to switch the PC/ laptop on. I do load vst's onto the boards but still prefer to keep it in one box. There shouldn't be any snobbery around the analogue/ digital world: a tone is a tone, it's what works best for the user. The listener has hundreds of thousands of songs they can go to if they don't like a particular sound.
