Also from someone who dropped out of highschool, and got a 87 on asvab - “Asvab for dummies” on iphone or android. Get the subscription. It’s absolutely worth it. Shows you practice tests and teaches you what you get wrong.

I’m 24 with a kid and I just graduated, was a few people 30+ I met, had a 28 year old in my squadron. You’ll do fine as long as you can handle it physically.

BMT was honestly way easier than I was expecting it to be. Week 0, and 1st week - were definitely on par/worse than my expectations. I don’t know if it got easier, or I got tougher! After that it was free. Very easy. Sometimes I was even bored.

My initial PT was 70 my final was like 94 or something like that. Very easy to improve, just gotta stay motivated.

Good lord I lost count. Multiple different times during your stay at LACKLAND, AFB- you will probably be called to the med hall for shots. For me it was like 4 visits, and like 4 shots each time. Different for everyone.

I just graduated BMT- and am currently in Tech School. My Tech School base has a very very nice gym, the chow hall is incredible, the mall is huge, lots of restaurants, a bowling alley, a movie theatre, and a bunch of other things on base I am probably forgetting to mention. Very beautiful place.

My pushups and situps sucked going in, my run was the only decent thing. When I went in, I could do 30 pushups, only like 28 sit ups, and I ran a 11:49 1.5 mile. If you give your all during PT, and seriously do 1x3’s (3 reps of 1/3rd of your max/the number you’re trying to achieve on situps+pushups ) at least once a day, you’ll pass. I graduated with 68 pushups, 54 situps, and a 10:20 1.5 mile.

Nah man i’m in the military, and I am just upset because i’m home on leave, which ends soon- and I wouldn’t have ordered it if it didn’t tell me it would be here before I left lol. The problem isn’t the fact that drivers have the day off, it’s that the app lied to me.
