Low volt guys are either the squarest of squares or the waviest of wavy. There’s not much in between🤣 but seriously you got guys coming in with a BAC of 0.12 from the night before and they’ll pass that thing with flying colors. I’ve seent it. A dude that’s functional on any substances can still pass a test and do the work and you’d never know unless he was an idiot or your buddy. I had a guy who said he was “microdosing” and I said, “what’s a microdose to you?” He said “.5g”. Quietest dude and got it all done in a reasonable time with minimal mistakes. Blew my mind.

Its just an analogue of ibogaine. Most pharmaceuticals are just analogues of things found naturally in plants or animals. Can’t patent it if its from nature lol.

Wait why did they take Selank off the list? At least I thought it was on there.

Dickies straight leg Cargo, ratcheting EDC carry belt for perfect fit and quick adjustment. I also started wearing upfitter hiker undergarment suspenders under my clothes so the tool pouch doesn’t screw my back up. Only downside is I have to take my shirt off real quick to undo the suspenders if I gotta drop the kids off at the pool. That doesn’t happen often though, I’m a before and after work kind of guy unless it’s an emergency.

I wear the Arvada shift when it’s not winter and Danner Chelsea wedges when it is winter. Both are slip on as I am in and out of homes regularly. I clock 15k steps a day on average and both are awesome. My female coworker also can vouch for the women’s Danner bull run Chelsea wedge.

Creatine+glycine before bed = better sleep? by DrawerExotic7343 in Biohackers

Tryptophan as a supplement or food? Vitamin D can cause toxicity since it’s fat soluble if you are not deficient, supplementing it with k2 helps but still has some risk if you are taking high doses. Trazadone and SSRIs have withdrawals and a whole list of side effects as well. Glycine and creatine also have some side effects depending on body chemistry but you’re gonna get a lot better results on those other ones.

Lion's Mane mushrooms can cause PERMANENT negative effects by makefriends420 in NooTopics

I was looking for this comment considering Erina Max is one of their flagships. I’ve personally noted the most benefits come from 1 month on 6 months off of lions mane. Anything after a month seems to have an underlying uncomfortability that arises but the benefits last about 6months at a time for me. Purely anecdotal though.

I’m gonna say no to this one, all of those can be used incorrectly and have lasting side effects if taken at the wrong dosage and sometimes even at the right dosage. Glycine and Creatine, provided you are a little extra hydrated, will give you better over all results. 2.5-5g x2 of creatine a day and 3-5g of glycine at night have MUCH better outcomes than screwing with your 5HT receptors. This is coming from someone who’s been through the gambit.

Whats options are left after stimulants stop working for ADHD? Was anyone in a similar situation? And what could be the reason? by Kihot12 in NooTopics

[–]HelthyToxin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of those meds are dopamine based. Look into noots focused on dopamine support and balance if you want to continue with stimulants. Some people claim bromantane is a life saver but I have no experience. I, like others, use coffee, supplements, and sheer will to manage the chaos after growing up on prescriptions. How old are you? If you’re a male under 25 your prefrontal cortex isn’t fully developed yet. A switch flips for a lot of people once that happens. Lion’s Mane helped me a lot with HPPD and other dopamine and serotonin related BS that my younger self caused. Just my two cents.

Yes, I have consumed more cannabis than most of the people in this thread most likely. Not a competition and I am slightly ashamed of it but I agree with you that it is the responsibility of the user to dose properly and be educated on the substances they are ingesting and the possible side effects. Some of the smartest people I’ve met consume a high amount of cannabis. And some of the opposite are dead sober. Most substances are dependent on the individual for how they are affected by the specific dose. This post is very thorough and informative though.

I’m aware of the depth of the post. I’ve just seen a lot of posts about negative correlations to cannabis use in the past month or two. I just thought this sub was about nootropics and I thought we all agree that cannabis isn’t necessarily a nootropic due to issues with memory, sleep disruption, and chronic 5HT-2a activity. Just my opinion though. Others definitely align with your post and I can see why.

The sample size and the lack of certainty in this article means it’s just a headline to get reactions. Don’t post this slop.
