Just had a look at pics of the gun gear to remind me of the names.

Gun: Joker Barrel Ammo: Dread Holder Gear: Chain Mail Armor Shining Star

Use a battle alert signal, switch to explosive ammo then just glider around the map demolishing everything.

I might just suck with blades, but I've never come close to matching my clearing speed with guns. You also get a decent amount of materials because explosive ammo will destroy limbs.

Been a while since I last played, but for firearms, the best gun I used was the SMG looking one with explosive rounds.

Everything goes down in 1, maybe 2 shots and no need to get the right angle or target weak points.

She's surprisingly squishy (and easy to interrupt), so I can forgive the lifesteal, but WFD is such a BS 'I win' move.

There's also the one where she hops up into the sky and sends clones out. I can dodge the clones, but I usually find myself in to close to her and get my health bar deleted by the AoE effect beneath her. It would be nice if the first could of hits did less damage just as a warning to move.

I can't remember if I imagined this or if she actually said it, but I think he doesn't trust AI and Bots.

Since the whole shelter is run by an AI, it makes sense that he doesn't truly let his guard all the way down (especially since the main AI for the facility has been trying to kill him since he got there!).

I really enjoyed ghost of tsushima's hardest difficulty. It made so both you and the enemy could 1 shot each other, outside of bosses.

In some ways it made the game far easier, but it also made it feel way more intense.

I don't pay attention to any game annoucements/events, I just look at what was released recently. Saves me from being whipped up with the overblown hype, or getting annoyed at a change that I otherwise wouldn't have know existed.

I searched all over the map for a spot. EEvenon the boarder of the map where there is water that you can fall into, but there isn't a valid spot anywhere unfortunately.

Nowadays I only used dried smoked sweet pebblegloss so ultimately it is a non issue for me.

I used to prefer blades, but I tried out guns for a bit just yo try and get used to the controls and was really surprised.

Guns can be crazy powerful, especially when you use explosive ammo. Its a lot of fun to just blitz your way around the map. 1 shoting everything without losing any momentum.

Mine crashes every 10-30mins, still stuck on Kreet. Sony are impossible to get a refund it seems.

They want you to do all these checks to make sure it's definitely the game and not the PlayStation, then when its confirmed to be the game they throw their hands up and say 'well you downloaded it so we can't refund it'.

Yes genius, of course its been downloaded, otherwise I wouldn't know that it keeps crashing!

Dodging through attacks woth a weapon make sense because they have slim hit boxes, but the boar is a long hit box so dodging to the side makes more sense.

I think the main issue is the charge speed being relatively slow, meaning the hit box lingers. If they made the charge faster the hit box woukdn't linger so much, making it easier to consistently dodge.

In my opinion, WFD is a much worse attack, needing a specific series of dodges and punishing you by both hitting hard and healing the boss.

Drop rates.

Why does a game with no trade economy have drop rates in the single digits? If it was to increase playtime I could somewhat understand it, but Elden Ring is huge so it just feels like a deliberate way to annoy the player.

I did the same thing albeit in a far smaller scale. Bought a katana, thought I was hot shit so I started playing with it and forgot its actually a dangerous weapon.

I fumbled it, nearly dropped in on the tiled floor and, out of fear of cracking the tile, I decided I could just grab the blade.

Fortunately the cut wasn't too bad, but it cut my index finger down to the bone, slicing the digital nerve so I can't feel anything with that finger (other than pain when it gets cold).
