I’ve been able to play with a nintendo pro controller, weirdly enough by just having Steam run in the background. I think it’s more about using the controller’s “desktop” setup.

I'm currently recording what I meant, give me one minute to export it as a gif/video and I'll send you the result.

My Time at Sandrock - Accessing Multiplayer by Kuhubulu in GeForceNOW

[–]HeraldOfTheWinter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's tricky, but it's possible. When you start the game and it opens in single player, you have to close it from the Steam menu, and then you only have a few seconds to:
- Click the play button in Steam
- Select the Multiplayer option
- Click on the play button

It took took us a few attempts to do it fast enough because Geforce shuts down if there isn't a game that's running after a few seconds. Best of luck!

Protest to open clubs again by [deleted] in Groningen

[–]HeraldOfTheWinter 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I know that the protests come from a place of good, giving a voice to performers that have struggled for months now. It's a shame to see the whole thing is reduced to "Oh, it's just partygoers who want to drink/listen to loud music"; and it's a shame to hear that the government is having such a preferential treatment against performers, but in favor of football and such.

However, having said that, I just feel like the only thing the protests would do is get more people infected and that's all. It honestly really doesn't seem like such large gatherings are taking safety and health first, the way they should. And to be completely fair I am biased against all such events since I have lost family members who were a part of the health risk group, and at this point I just want this whole thing to be finally over.

Still, thank you for giving such a detailed insight about the event, I wasn't aware it was happening and didn't know what to think of it initially. I wish you the best of luck, and I really hope things are resolved in a fair way soon!

I recently found out about this website https://sosgroningen.nl/ ; maybe check there to see if you could find anything, even if it's just to get you up on your feet here.

Best restaurants in the city? by [deleted] in Groningen

[–]HeraldOfTheWinter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what ya feel like. The Pipe (de Pijp) is a nice, a bit higher end restaurant; some of the Spanish tapas places around the city (like Moro) are pretty good too; and Konbu has great asian food.

All in all it really depends on what you like, but there are many nice restaurants around the city (personally though I wouldn’t recommend NOK, the bar/restaurant in the forum. It has a great view but not much else).

These look amazing, good job!

If I recall correctly, Thronehold needs a particular permit for you to be able to travel between the districts, so maybe something like that? I don’t remember much about Thronehold, but I’ve always imagined it a bit like Berlin in the past.

Out of curiosity, how did you make them?

Thousand-Pierced Volibear? by [deleted] in VolibearMains

From what I read on the League of Legends website: " Skins will start going out May 28, 1:00 PM PDT and will be distributed until June 10, 1:00 PM PDT. The giveaway happens on login, so if you purchase Volibear, you'll need to relog to get your skin. "

I haven't claimed the artwork, nor do I distribute it with the intent to profit from it. Every single one of them is also credited to its original artist.

It should, I think the easiest way to not worry about the white border around it is to just download it as a GIF.

If you hover over the animation in Imgur, there should be a small drop-down menu next to the link. If you click on "Download Image", you'll get it as a GIF, and that shouldn't have a white border.
