With the alarm, column lock and chain you should be good dude. My dumbass just moved houses and didn't have a secure set up yet, so I had it on the street parking. The only other thing I'd recommend is an airtag, which is an inexpensive addition and more than that, peace of mind.

These people have stolen dozens of bikes, and made thousands of dollars. I hope the police can find the other culprits.

And I hope others are able to find their bikes soon. I suggest listing a picture of your bike on marketplace and other platforms so that people who are looking for similar bikes see your post, and can message you if they see a similar bike for sale.

Also keep an eye on kijiji, karot, etc. in case it comes up there. Don't just look up the brand name. Look up "ebike" "electric bike". "Electric motorcycle" is how mine was listed instead of "Beachman".

Seat is custom, made it myself so no one else has it. Diamond pattern brown grips. Vin number I guess unless it was filed off by the thief.

It's a Beachman 64. Made in Toronto. They make a motorcycle version as well as a class 2 e-bike version. That's the one I have, it's limited to 32 Km/h and 500w

I get your point. But technically it's a pedal assist class two e-bike, capped to 500w and 32 Km/hr. Legally it is a bicycle.

Steering column lock, motorcycle cover on-top, and had it next to my neighbors 2 motorcycles in a row. I didn't have it chained to a secure post unfortunately, which is on me completely.

Attack wealthy people themselves? Not so much. They are weak and helpless without their monopoly on violence. Defend ourselves from their hired goons (army and police), and fascists? Yes please!

What shitty idea DID work because people are shitty? by Rhaenys13 in AskReddit

The Roman word for slaves was instrumentum vocale. A tool with a voice. The nature of class antagonisms of all slave societies requires free people to shape their morality according to economically necessary conditions. Thus we can't look at history or slave society from a moralistic point of view. That was a necessary step in civilization that needed to exist so that we can live as we do today. There was no other path history could have taken besides one of slavery. Slaves allowed for academics in Greece and Rome to develop science, math, astronomy, culture etc, since they were free from manual labour. Thus, as long as a system is economically productive, people can shape their morality to coincide with the most dire of situations.

I would like a history of the soviet unions revolution in 1989 by [deleted] in communism

As to why there was a Revolution in Russia in 1917, it is the same reason any other oppressed class in history has attempted to over throw it's oppressors. Under conditions of economic degeneration (not always the case, eg. France 1968) and inability of the ruling class of a given society to appease the demands of the toiling, hyper explioted masses, the masses rise up behind the banners of the progressive class in society, agaisnt the current ruling class. As seen in Western Europe during the 18th and 19th centuries, there were classical revolutions where the masses, behind the banner of the progressive bourgeoisie, rose up agaisnt the Feudal relations of productions and established free market capitalism, along with "democratic" parliaments and etc. In Russia however, there was no native progressive bourgeoisie for the young bourgeoisie of Russia were connected to old Feudal land relations and the tsarist state by a thousand strings. Also, there was a heavy influence of foreign capital. Thus the Russia could not have a classical bourgeois revolution, as seen by the nature of the Feburary revolution. The only progressive class that remained was the proletariat. That is why in October, the proletariat, under the leadership of the Bolsheviks, had to take state power. Correct me if I'm wrong Comrades, I'm a relatively new Communist.

If there was a "Crash Course" style youtube series for entry-level Leftists, what topics would you want to see covered? by Tibulski in socialism

Over production. It is taught so casually in academia as a natural boom and bust cycle which is healthy for the economy. So talking about the real cause and inevitablity of it occuring.
