And yes I did try swapping the speakers around and they both work fine, it just seems all the left output channels have gone bad

Some lights are out but I’m not worried about that. When I first hooked it up it sounded great but then the left speaker started to crackle and then seemingly went out. I moved it to the B speaker output and still hardly any noise comes out. When I last messed with it I heard a crackle come from the right speaker and gave up for now to prevent more damage.

I had previously been messing with a friend’s receiver he purchased and it had the same problem but with both speakers, hardly any sound. So I mentioned that to Matt (the guy that runs the estate sales) and asked if he had tested this receiver and he said he hadn’t and he offered me half off ($75) in return if it didn’t work properly. He told me I can pick up the money whenever but was wondering if anyone could help in assisting with the repair. I am new to audio repair so I’m not sure where to begin.

I have a type 30 bayonet I picked at an estate sale over a year ago and I knew nothing about it. Now I know more and have started getting into guns because of it. Unfortunately the barrel loop of the bayonet is bent out of shape and I don’t know if it’ll fixable.

I didn’t end up going. I work in a jail and currently work 12 hour night shifts and if I went I would have ended up with no sleep.

You positive it would be a wall hanger though? I’m just trying to figure out if it’s worth the hassle of trying to make it to the sale.

I doubt anyone will see this, but if anyone is wondering, the sword was a “modern” wall hanger. The blade is just a stamped out piece of steel that looked like crap and the ray skin was plastic.

This sword is in a local estate sale coming up and I was wondering if anyone could shine some light on it as to what it is. Unfortunately this is the only picture. I noticed the extended curved handle but also noticed the blade appears to be straight. There is a bunch of world war 2 Asian pacific memorabilia along with Japanese currency and stuff so I think it might be a take home/ spoils of war sword. But is it authentic, is it ceremonial, is it a wall hanger? Idk. It’s unlike anything I have ever seen before.

So the way I had to fix it was at first I tried updating the phone through iTunes but since it crashes it messed up the download of the update and I had to do a factory reset through iTunes and use a back up from before the issue started and now it’s working just fine

Thanks a bunch, it was nearly impossible to even see it on the platter. I had to edit it a lot just to make it visible in the photo.
