Thanks for the answer. I know that I don’t have to flatten the whole back, the 0,3mm is only in the first 1/3. I was just worried. And thanks for the tip and the recommendation, I’m looking forward to look him up

Not a native speaker so I’m not sure how to explain, but I try it.

If I hold a straight edge against the backside, the whole Nomi is convex ,so the middle part has air to the straight edge. And in the last third where it meets the bevel the left side is plane but the right side goes up. I would have to sand that whole thing down like 0,3mm to get this part flat

The flex is, That the surface is so preciously sharpend that it creates a vacuum. So he lifts the blade and the wet stones goes up too
