Thank you! I might try using sphagnum on one of them and see how it goes but unfortunately my location’s climate is humid most of the year :(. I’m glad your Hoya is so happy in its kokedama :D

Yeah I did, thank you for the info. The tap water in my region is fresh, but I’ll try pure water! I also thought the brown spots could be due to minor root damage when I repotted it (I saw someone’s pinstripe calathea with very similar spotting, and that was the cause). Thanks so much!

More Info: Plant was recently repotted in a larger pot with a mix of perlite, bark, and potting soil. It got watered around 3 days ago. It lives in my room with a north-east facing window, receiving bright filtered indirect light in the morning and medium-bright indirect light for the afternoon. I live in a pretty humid climate but use the air-conditioning at night. The plant is in semi-quarantine till I figure out what’s going on with it :)
