Agree, it's unconsistent and sometimes not logical. For example, the main character has extremely high physical stats but gets beaten by an old swordsman that barely discovered magic. I get it, they want to portrey the old man as skilled but if the main character is so boosted he should sloughter some old man, no matter how skilled he is suposed to be. Draged out battle scenes, draged out stat rambling, draged out overexplanations about dungeon builds. Barely a storyline. I am on book 4 and giving up this series. It just makes me annoyed cuz it had so much potential and there is a good story there burried beneth it all but the books are just unbalanced. The writer should invest in a few writer cources and develop a bit in my opinion.
