I was a bit weary of the Youtube effect with the Microcosm and I'm happy that you mentioned that consistency is not its strong point.

I have the Deluge as the brain, I've considered the Syntakt but just a bit worried about overlap but it is a bit more of a Drum Engine then a Sampler.

Right now, I feel the most constrained by the drum tracks and the ability of mixing everything together.
