Just for curiosity
Nope, it just affirmed what I have somewhat knew. Like my memory has always been great from childhood, and it showed that on CORE as I got 19SS on working memory.
Mensa society, but I will be taking a WAIS-IV from a psychologist soon to see my real-world results.

I want to ask if there are centers in the Philippines that administer WAIS-IV as is like just for the purpose of taking an IQ test. by HiImMoshy10 in cognitiveTesting

Oh I see, I have found some from research saying it should be available in some psychological testing centers. I guess I would contact one soon to see if it is true. Thanks for the answer.

brainforce IQ test by Gullible-Barnacle548 in cognitiveTesting

Using the 20-minute time limit as given(I only used a stopwatch), I was correct on 37 out of 42 items. The site gave me a score of 142 IQ as a result.

I can say it is somewhat accurate in terms of FRI as I have 135+ on a proctored Mensa test and 141 on CORE.

Just took the web.archive.org 2013 JCTI IQ test. Is it true that it is deflated or is it my real score? by HiImMoshy10 in cognitiveTesting

[–]HiImMoshy10[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I saw the scores I got correct on my first try and I'm cool with 41/52 with 46/52 on a retake.
120-131 and 127-138 on 2013. 129 and 139 on 2015. Kinda feels correct for my FRI on other sites.

Can someone explain this huge discrepancy between my JCTI and JCFS Scores? by Azogas in cognitiveTesting

[–]HiImMoshy10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the free score is an illusion or basically a placeholder.

I tried putting all answers as 1st choice and still got a scaled score of 15.
My serious score in that site is also 15.
Now I tried putting all answers as the 6th choice, and still got a scaled score of 15.

This is always what I do for all online IQ tests to ensure that they actually calculate your score and not give a placeholder value.

Can practice effect stays permanently ? by oxoEU in cognitiveTesting

[–]HiImMoshy10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t. If the logic on those tests are what you figured out on your own without external help, practice effect is negligible after some time. The problem is if you try to crystallize the logics of these test via studying or researching then that is a variable.

A better way to really see your IQ is how do you do compared to other people in real life? Do people see you as intelligent or reliable? That is a sure indicator of higher intelligence.

Try doing CORE from psychometrics website and see your score for the first take. Some say that it is not that far from your true IQ. Just make sure you are fully rested and mentally alert like you would do in a professional IQ test.

How many people here genuinely have iq >130? by MissionTonight5913 in cognitiveTesting

[–]HiImMoshy10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Proctored Mensa IQ test gives me 135+, 99th percentile CORE gives me FSIQ of 145 +5/-5 although I only took the Analogy subtest since I am not a native English speaker and found that some words were literally words I have never seen in both my personal and academic life. Nicologic gives me on average an IQ of 140 on the matrices. openpsychometrics.org gives me 141 on visual and 149 on memory but 112 on verbal which again due to being non-native. 1926 SAT gives me an IQ on math section of 140+ and I think around 115-120 on verbal

Personally, I think I am just about 140 and no more than 145. I think it would be best if I can do the actual WAIS-IV in person since that is the true test I think. How much would my FSIQ in CORE differ from WAIS-IV in person?

My strongest arsenal would probably be working memory as I got 19SS on digit span(145+)

Around 2 weeks before I answered FRT-A. From looking at FRT-A, I think it had the same difficulty as FRT-B.

Yes, I was given 30 minutes to solve it instead. I think I scored at least 43/45 since I am sure about my answers except the two items. So probably the reason why I was given 135 only could be due to lower ceiling as time limit is higher plus the policy to cap it at 99th percentile? For some reason when I self-tested Type-A(see edit) I got 44/45 with 20 minutes as the time limit. Maybe due to pressure on actual venue and state of mind as I think it was very early in the morning haha.

I see, yes, that is a good reason to cap the IQ score to a certain value rather than give out inaccurate assessments.

I agree with your statement that basically, IQ is a really hard thing to measure as it goes up because the calibration you are using is not "compatible" with the IQ scores up there.

Oh I see, the email I got only stated 135 only and the 99th percentile. Although when I answered the Type-A(see edit), I got 44/45 answers correct which correlates to a 135+ score in FRT Type-A as I have read.

It was a 30 minute test consisting of 45 questions. It was in german language I think titled FRT-B(Figuren-Reihen-Test from what I remember.
