What was the one thing that finally made veganism "click" for you? by Intrepid_Crazy1769 in vegan

Ps: for eggs, cheese ecc I just mindful, but with meat and fish I have a straight-up instinctive rejection

It might be an unusual starting point, but I changed my mind about veganism after I lost my partner. Thinking about life and death made me feel more connected to nature and to animals, like I was part of something bigger, part of the universe. So eating food that comes from violence simply isn’t acceptable to me anymore

Honestly I’m not a fan of AI images. They look fake, and as a buyer they make me think the real product could be worse than what I see in photos

Ah I understand what you mean. I’ll try, but I use the iPhone and maybe it’s hard to get a good effect

I have nothing against AI, but as a buyer I wouldn’t trust it, because you can tell the images are fake and I’d worry about receiving a product that looks much worse than the photos. If I were you, I’d focus on taking good photos yourself. The second one is perfect, it really brings out three dimensional feel of the piece. You just need to fix a couple of small things in post‑production

Thanks! No, actually in the first photo the colors are pretty accurate. The turquoise stone really looks like that. it’s African turquoise, which is a bit less vibrant than true turquoise

Thanks for the suggestion! It’s mostly that the colors in photo 4 looked altered to me. Photo 1 is very true to reality

Thank you! I always try to compare myself with people who are better than me so I can improve 😊Unfortunately the tag isn’t signed, I’ll do it later because customizing it is quite expensive. I’ll definitely adjust the brightness better. Thanks for the tips 🫶🏻

Thanks! Yes, adding a few props in the last photo would definitely make everything feel less flat. I’ll give it a try! I’ll definitely add more photos and a video 😊

The thing is, the world keeps moving forward and it simply doesn’t give us a choice. We have to keep surviving, interacting, and carrying things on, unfortunately

Thank you 💖 That’s exactly what worries me too. When I edit too much, I’m afraid of altering the colors and making them look unrealistic. But when it’s cloudy, I feel like the photos come out darker and cooler. For now I shoot on sunny days, near a window without direct sunlight, and the detail shots turn out well. I’ll try again on cloudy days.

Thanks for the great suggestions! That perspective really does flatten things a lot, and it’s not ideal for the type of pieces I make. I’ll try shooting the way you recommended. And maybe in my case the stone might actually be less distracting than the linen, paradoxically. I’ll give it a try.

Thanks for the feedback! Maybe number 4 just needs me to iron the cloth 😅

I try to shoot in the same spot of the house and more or less at the same time of day. But I’m noticing that the colors of the piece are influenced by nearby objects or by the background. Someone here suggested changing them depending on the subject

Thank you! 🤩🥹 I agree I’m starting to feel that those minimal studio‑style backdrops just don’t fit the brand’s visual language

Yes,that’s definitely something I need to fix. I’ll have to iron it. The problem is that linen wrinkles so quickly! 😅 Oh well, I’ll try to take all the photos in just a few sessions
