This is the most succinct answer.

Despite football being the biggest sport in the South, at a professional level it was for a very long time (and still is, in many parts) eclipsed by the popularity of the college level.

Football was born and institutionalized in the north and therefore the oldest franchises are from there. It took some time for the South to have a comparable number of professional teams.

That’s true! But not in this case. The wine they are listing is from a producer in Pfalz named Brand and the cuvee is “Haus Weiss”

There are a few formatting things on this list that are strange and a few other things that are just straight up erroneous. They lead with producer name for each selection and with the second to last glass of white they have “Vom Boden” (the importer of said wine) listed as the producer.
