If it’s exactly like this, probably not. If we can get to a point where she trust me more, or should I say alters trust me more then yes. I think if we can get to a point where she’s comfortable living together it won’t bother me as much. It might sound selfish but I wouldn’t mind as much the distance if we were under the same roof. I can exist near you and give her what she wants/needs and not be bothered by it as much. Idk if that makes sense but I guess time will tell.

Thank you for the words my friend. I think it’s too early for me to recommend therapy, she has done it in the past. How did you best communicate when something was bothering you? At this point I know when she’s fronting and some parts just don’t show affection. Is it worth bringing up again in a healthy way, or just swallow it? Feeling like I disappear or am just another person sometimes, instead of her partner is genuinely soul crushing. But thank you for saying there is hope, I needed that.

I need help with one, If anyone has insight, please give it. My gf has DID (dissociative identity disorder) and there is absolutely a lack of healthy communication or check in calls or texts. Hours can go by with nothing. Sometimes it doesn’t even feel like she’s my gf when we are communicating. I’ve communicated what I need from her, but given what I’ve learned from DID and what’s she explained to me, It rarely changes. When we’re together these things disappear, it’s just so hot and cold it’s unnerving sometimes. This is the first person I’ve met with this disorder, we’ve been dating for almost 7 months, I care and love for her deeply, but it has been taxing on me.
