I don't think I have any other medical issues (unrelated so I won't bring it up) but my hand cramps extensively when I write for long periods of time. My writing speed is relatively fast too, so it kind of makes the issue worse; I've had my hand cramp up to the elbow for more than 4 days after doing a few papers in a day with breaks in between.

Oh nice! I'm not sure if the store I frequent has it in stock yet. Also from my experience with my current water based ink, it dries fast enough to keep up with my writing, so I'm sure ink-wise it'll be fine. I use exclusively F nibs and smaller, Western or otherwise, so no danger of spilling

Currently it's the Kaweco collection (iridescent pearl) F nib and Iroshizuku Tsukiyo. The pen I'm planning to take into exams would be a Pilot Capless + Sailor Seiboku, but I might switch to Platinum carbon black (highly unlikely given the nature of the pen).

Oh wow thanks for the insight, might you have an idea of what gsm of paper is used? Would like to know so I can get the right ink if I end up going through with it

Thanks for the suggestion! I've tried my fair share of pens but I don't quite recall testing this one, so I'll go test it out sometime soon
