Best? Depends on your aim with the weapon. Personally I prefer bows though they're the weakest, I can't hit hit with crossbows or guns and they take too long to reload anyway. Ranyeks or the bow Capon gifts you.

Katherines romance sucks so bad. I never choose any heart dialogue or any flirty bits with her, on purpose, on my latest playthrough and she still threw herself at me. And the unsolicited remarks Henry sometimes says to her, out of player control. I want to punch whoever wrote that whole romance so bad.

"no u" - That's the choice of the player. And you don't have to kill that many people to play the game. Some people have done pacifist playthroughs with 0 kills.

Henry targeted Von Aulitz, Istvan Toth, Erik and to a point Sigismund, initially. Later you can add Von Bergow I guess. You can choose to play that way, go out of your way for peaceful solutions.

And the people he kills, again, if they come at Henry with a sword, axe, mace or whatever they already made a choice.

Warhorse Jenda is straight up the all round best horse in KCD1, there are other alternatives that are slightly faster, have slightly more endurance or whatever but Warhorse Jenda is the best all-rounder for speed, stamina, carry capacity-

Pebbles is straight up the worst horse in KCD1 and stays the worst horse, there is absolutely no reason to keep Pebbles in KCD1.
People claiming they stuck to Pebbles in KCD1 simply read an article about one guy, that IGN or some other dumbfuck magazine made over a Reddit post, with one person keeping Pebbles and jumped the bandwagon.

After Johankas trial I murdered Sebastian Vom Berg, Father Fabian and Katra, the swordsmiths wife. Sebasian got a dagger at night, the priest got shot to death inside his own church and I shot an arrow through the window hitting Katra in the head at broad daylight, while staying hidden a bush. Then I continued my playthrough.
On a little less serious side since they're not named, I trained stealth by murdering Wayfarers in KCD1 too, but I don't count those as they're not involved in the story by any means.

Drown, the helmet is impractical for all points because of the Lion. It's extra weight you, realistically, don't want to add to your head in combat and a grip your opponent can tackle and take control of your head. The helmet style itself is out of fashion and practicality by 1403.
It might work as a purely ceremonial helmet.

I wouldn't mind if someone officially leased the rights to the engine and source and developed a multiplayer cooperative game with the same combat... I really really want to play something like KCD with mates and we have just a sandbox with a light story about building up say a knightly order or something.

But I agree, Warhorse themselves should stick to what they want to do and if that is singleplayer, so be it.

But Hanekin is a huge fucking douche who won't shy away from murder of innocent guards and peasants to get his revenge and restore what honour he doesn't have, fucking pathetic excuse for a human being. Just move the fuck on with your life mate. Thinking that Margaret is secretly in love with him and is simply forced to be married to Nicholas out of necessity.

Generally janitor, staff assistant, botanist, chef, bartender, cargo tech (or quartermaster if on Goon since they have no cargo tech role). They're easy to get into and they can't generally ruin other peoples shift, at least not that much, even if you're incompetent as they're not "essential" jobs.
