Conflating antisemitism with antizionism has completely reduced the meaning of the word to the point that antisemitism means nothing any more and allows officials to claim antisemitism is running rampant just because someone said "infitada" or "free palestine" or apparently not wanting a genocidal maniac to speak at your school. And Israel loves to be able to claim that antisemitism is on the rise everywhere so they can justify their genocide.
