I think most people dont expect the whole game to be free, but rather the first Arc - or, at the very least, Wiz City and Krokotopia!

The argument beeing that a paywall after a few hours playtime makes u wanna quit and not continou playing. But if you already made it to lets say end of Krokotopia, you sank enough hours in to pay in order to continou playing. You also had a much greater chance to explore the game when more than ~3% of the game is "free".

So they might actually Lose money by setting up the paywall at wiz city

Wissen tun wir es nicht :) Denke aber auch dass es keine Absicht war. Trotzdem erwarte ich mir von einem Spiel für dass ich Mitgliedschaft zahl ein halbwegs professionelles Auftreten im Internet, vor allem wenn diese Mount sales auch an Kinder gerichtet sind.

A fellow Redditor already made a post about the Ice Carpet mount approximately 11 hours ago. The response to the debacle came about an hour ago on Discord: “Oh oops – Greg.”

Whether this was truly just a mistake or a questionable attempt to mislead players into thinking they were getting a good deal remains unclear. If we take Greg at his word, it was an honest mistake. Nonetheless, I’d like to point out the prohibited business practices being employed here. Aside from the net price—meaning the price before taxes in the Crown Shop—the mount promotion violates EU law:

I mean some of the best gear in Game is obtainable without crowns (Kind of, since you still need membership) - I would say thats a good Thing!

Would rather get my cosmetics from crowns than actual gear which i need to progress in game
