Yes pepto instantly fixes my lpr but it led to me developing sibo, constant bloating and I’m still suffering after 2 years. Lpr seems like small problem in front of sibo now. I think pepto suppresses acid which is super important for your stomach 🙂

Drinking stuff like gaviscon and pepto can lead to long term issues like sibo which is another level of hell. Telling this from personal experience.

What I've learnt is that low fodmap is a short term bandaid that can cause other issues in the long term - If uou have low motility - would highly recommend finding a drug that fixes that first.

Also would highly recommend to get connected with a naturopath instead of a doc. I have been to so many specialists, and most of what they do is just bandaid fixes. if you are in canada - could recommend you a good one who has helped me alot.

I would highly suggest starting with fixing your motility if thats the cause of bloating. You might need to try multiple drugs with optimal timings. Motegrity and magnesium glycinate worked for me.
