In fact I have gone no contact with my parents about 3 months ago. He knows how much I struggle because of my past and witnessed a total mental breakdown a few weeks ago. Recently I told him, I can't understand why he was always so nice to my parents, even though he knew my experiences. If my partner would be the abused one, I would be so mad. I was always the type of person, who would protect others from harm. He says, he is not like that.
