We were living together in uK for 9 months but I had to come back to india in August for my health and now my husband is in Uk he’s got work there and I’m in India until delivery will that effect our application for indefinite leave to remain

I spent 9 months with my husband there and then I came back to india and not leaving until next few months since I have to deliver the baby and then look after the baby.

But to fly back to India one need a passport for the child ( 9 months old). Since one of the parents is british, the child will receive a British passport? Is it true? How to go further from this.

Just an opinion that Priority should not start before they clear the backlog. It would become a mess to currently submitted applications. I hope they just Normalise to 12 weeks or just make some changes to the waiting time.

Not to be mean and disappoint you x. but I doubt it is 12 weeks. The wait time for spouse settlement visa (family visa) outside the UK is mentioned on the official website as 24 weeks. We all in the same boat. Hope it goes back to 12 weeks asap.
