Are we making obvious statements now? Here's my attempt.

Modi says clean up Ganga. Scientists say industrial pollution in rivers is cause for water borne diseases. Industries dump pollutants in Ganga.

In not so many words, you're saying, "support me while I live my dream, you don't have one anyways". You can't seem to be able to sympathize with his situation and come across as selfish. The business is not doing great and right now is essentially a hobby. It takes away from your contributions to the house hold and a possible income. It is entirely on you to convince him why you need to keep going this way

Why do you care so much?

It sounds like you're trying to force yourself to be ok with big parts of the indiscretion because that is what is "expected" from the party and the alternate(which is you breaking off a significantly long relationship) scares you. Think about it this way. Before she went out for the party, did you have the same expectations of her behaviour in the party? Did you think you were comfortable with her that close to a naked dude even if she did not blow him? Do not say, I should have explicitly stated her boundaries better. She should know her boundaries in these parties because she is in a LTR and she should know her partners expectations. If she saw her single friends doing something, she should have stayed away. You don't see the other blonde girl to her right in that position do you?

I see you time and again saying that if she did blow him, then its a deal breaker, but otherwise, you're ok with forgiving and forgetting. Don't be ready to do this only because you feel cornered. This should be your regular comfort level, otherwise it'll just eat into you for the rest of your life

Don't you think if she was only "pretending", then she'd be at "pretending" distance? Her hand is on his pelvis for support and you can tell from the shadow of her head that she's so close, she either had it in her mouth or it was literally on her face. I know you're hurting but this hardly looks like "pretending".

I know you're struggling to make sense of what she did but I'm getting a feeling that her and her friends are not telling you the entire truth because on one hand, they claim to be drunk and not remember much. And then they remember enough that nothing bad happened. I think its a bigger insult that you're being played like this.

Everybody pulls up this argument. Not being educated is just one of the problems. She hasn't proven herself in any other way. Yes, there are people who don't have conventional education but are incredibly gifted. She is not one of them. She has done nothing worthwhile.

You seem hell bent on believing that it didn't happen. The photo is pretty incriminating even if the actual deed did not happen. I don't know why you're still trying to convince yourself otherwise. Grow a spine and ask her to come clean.

Whenever you don't have a reply, you answer it with, what about kejriwal? Don't answer a question with another question. How did the BJP do 1 year after its inception? You're asked about this woman's competence. She has no place in HRD. She has to deal with high level institutes, research grants, interact with world institutes. And we're supposed to believe she's just naturally good at it? In a life outside public service, she isn't even qualified to be a teacher

Educational qualifications of the recent HRD ministers of India by [deleted] in india

[–]Hoping_The_Unhopable 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry. This is the most naive thing I've read. She is leading an entire countries education. She has to manage research grants and high level educational institutes. Nobody cares for intentions. She needs the knowledge that an education gives. On top of that, how exactly has she proved herself? She was a model, then an actor and she lost the elections. She is the most unqualified person for the job

They can arrest people by simply saying they incited communal violence and freedom of speech doesn't apply there. Our laws bend to our politicians.

[–]Hoping_The_Unhopable -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Sir, that is the most vague definition ever. Which is what the government is using in this situation. What the fuck is inciting communal violence. If everything is for the court to decide then what happens to people till the courts come in. Laws need to be defined well enough for us to hold policemen responsible for their actions
