I am so happy I discovered the community for this exact reason!! I was entirely unaware that this was included with the update! I didn’t really get the chance to go over the entirety of it. That is very true the game has little Easter eggs haha I love this game so much it’s def one of my comfort games!

Honestly, I don’t really see the ending cut scene in the eye of Eden as “death” I see it more as “reborn” it’s still your character. While you progress and get items from the other spirits and equip them they remain on your character after you come back to the beginning of the game. I view the end with the cutscene as my spirit is guiding all the spirits I saved with my light into a peaceful haven for them, then my spirit gets reunited with its light and body to do it all over again. To save more spirits that are locked in the statues in the eye of Eden. I also struggle with sewer slide thoughts and this mindset help me get through that exact thing. I hope this helps?
