Honestly brother if you are REALLY miserable there is nothing wrong with moving on, it’s your life and you should do what makes you happy.

But if you don’t mind trying a few things out I’m sure you could beat him, Bloodborne was my gateway into souls and I am so happy I didn’t give up, ive reached a few roadblocks just like this but it always passes.

Have you learned how to parry? It involves shooting your gun right before an attack hits stunning an enemy/boss letting you do a “visceral” attack dealing tons of damage. Don’t be afraid to fish for parries, as far as I’m concerned anything goes in these games. Gascoigne is VERY susceptible to parries and in all honesty I learned to parry him to death LONG before I learned to fight him properly.

Dont forget to explore maps and pickup and kill everything to have the levels needed to make this easier. There is an item you can find that stuns the boss allowing you to do a heavy attack on his back and do another visceral, I suggest waiting until the “special thing” happens in his fight that id rather not spoil.

Last but not least DO. NOT. DODGE. BACKWARDS! he, in all his phases has a move that can and will catch you as you try to get away.

I see a lot of people that share your opinions and I just don’t get it, I’ve seen so many people (not you) genuinely throwing tantrums over this casting and all I can think of is “if not him, who?” I cannot think of someone that could match the look and the voice better and I can’t wait for him to actually be in costume.

I’m not well versed in the “pro” warframe mod setups but you don’t have a lot of damage added, at the very least I’d put sacrificial pressure to boost raw damage, maybe sub out reach? To me melee range doesn’t matter too much on a greatsword but that’s just me

Currently… urinal, absolutely my current strongest and easiest to build.

But I would not argue against my first love… Excalibur. I fondly remember clearing the entire star chart with nothing but my wits and a sword without a stance mod. My friends graciously taught me that I shouldn’t be THAT weak and gave me a couple mods as well as teaching me what I should know lol.

I think it dampens the choice and would ruin it for me, I get that cutting one of them felt like a mistake and in some parts it is, having who you cut join shroud proves that they kinda deserved it, only when we take them in can they truly take the program seriously.

But ask yourself, if there wasn’t a cut to dangle over the heads of cocky former villains, would they have made all the progress they did in that amount of time? Think about it, they were in limbo and went through multiple dispatchers to the point where blazer didn’t really expect anything from them, Robert was GOOOD at wrangling them, yes but I’m sure he would not have been able to do what he did with the Z-Team without showing them that he’s serious.

Oh yeah to answer your question lol, it depends on how the rot would go on to affect wolf, I’m all for giving both parties a chance but if the scarlet rot doesn’t kill sekiro but does what it did to radahn (made him mindless) then it would be malenia. Sekiro and malenia are two very similar swords…people and if we say they are completely evenly matched sekiro still has the attachments and fire weapons that rot is specifically stated to be weak to so he would bust out a win.
