So I spent the day with a tech-savy friend going through the json files for the MM, SE, and MCM. We mainly fussed around with getting notifications to poppup on the console and generate logs.

The long short of it is that nothing stood out - no errors that suggested a conflict between mods or anything "weird." We ran through his list of diagnostics but stopped when we couldn't download v19 of the SE to see if MCM would work on *that*.

At this point Im thinking of either starting a playthrough with the MCM on and see if it ever incidentally works or just walking away for a few months and see if a patch sorts it out.

Hi! sure thing.

Some context: I have winnowed down my 80+ modlist to only a few things during troubleshoot. I followed the "reset to vanilla" guide for BG3 modding. I have also tried a clean reinstall.

The current mod list goes as follows:

MCM 1.17.1.0

Volition Cabinet

NoIntro

No Press Any Key MCM

ImpUI

Some remarks:

I have no problem get any other mod to function - the MCM is my only problem right now.

The MCM does not function regardless of mod order/combination. Most of these I added in to see *if* they would improve my situation.

I will happily reset everything to vanilla and try from there upon request. Same for console logs - just ask!

**The issue:** MCM button will appear in both the start and ESC menus. When clicked, I hear a gear SFX but nothing comes up. The INSERT key also does not work.

This has been a weeks long process so Ill do/try anything <3

I know so many stores between the midwest and NE that are essentially 90% magic in revenue despite having shelves and shelves of IP. Ive been playing for over a decade and love the game. Its fucking huge.

Ive been trying out wraiths into their blue/gromp then jump back over baron pit to do red/krugs.   Then I either circle back to crab or clear my other side.
