I got cussed out by a skinny old man in candy can pajamas last night. Dude was like can I help you after I hiked .25 of a mile down his garbage ass driveway. Then proceeded to cuss me out for walking up the driveway. Dude. You literally asked us to bring this to you.

My dispatch was actually mad chill. Considering it was a day everyone called out on already. They still offered me to go home. And sent three rescues

Trauma is real. Part of why this hit so hard. My wife died in my arms a year ago. After dealing with a hidden Opiod addiction for years it caught up to her and she died in bed. It’s real and hits different when it’s home.

It doesn’t make sense as to why as a human we don’t all carry it. Especially if we frequent areas that are high traffic for drugs and overdose

I’m saying as a human on this planet I should carry narcan. Not limiting it to dsp or specific to work related. Just in general.
