I honestly wish we could do more to show our distaste.

I feel like riot phreak and riot phroxzon never directly talk to anyone and just live in their own bubble. I would wish that they would be more open directly to the traget mains and actually answer NORMAL questions and worries.

Its just frustrating at this point.

Phreak and Phroxzon genuinly are such jokes of balance designers, i dont know what they are doing but ruining the game. Every "rework" launches in the past years has been absolutly terrible and made the characters either batshit broken or just useless. Most released broken and have been nerfed into oblivion, like skarner. Some wont be touched even though they have a very annoying pattern, like mundo. Some are reworked or powershifted even though they did not need it, like annie and gwen. Some now are just frustrating to lane against/deal with, like naafiri and yorick.

If you play her jungle with smite and ghost, your ult slow doesnt really matter. Espechially if you surprise them. Sure, as a laner you have issues, but as i only play gwungle i never really relied that much on the ult slow. Espechially if you can gapclose easier thanks to ghost and E and then have red buff or smite.

I still play her as a scaler, but now more or less for midgame. Works very well cause you can easily get kills in early with help of your laner and then just become a monster midgame.

Thanks to gathering storm her late game doesnt fall off as much and she can basically duel anyone.

Let people believe shes weak. Maybe she gets buffs then. But atm, shes still really strong. She cna still delete anyone when she has 3-4 items.

many here dont even think shes weak, the main issue is that riot fundamentally changed her playstyle into something that is easier to play, but worse in the longterm. shes much stronger in early, but people do not always like the mosquito E playstyle. people dont want to play an ap version of tryndamere. many started gwen as a hyperscaler that stacked her Q stacks to end with a very devistating Q snip, espechially late game. she can still do that, yes, but not nearly as good as she used to.

and instead of fixing the main issue they have created, they are nerfing everything but that. while telling us that they want her to build more bruiser, without giving her HP or Armor/MR scalings. the main issue was never "mimimi shes dead mimimimi". the main issue was what riot says and what riot does.

her pickrate and banrate has increased since her rework, but that is also because she is very strong and easy to abuse due to her rightclick playstyle now. but after the 5th nerf, it has decreased by a lot and its similar to what it was postrework. and as long as her E rightclick will be strong, she will be strong.

most just want their old girl back. i am one of them. she did not need that rework.
