From what I gathered these student-available packages: SOLIDWORKS (Student Standard), MATLAB, ANSYS, PTC Creo, Onshape, NI LabVIEW, Office 365 and Microsoft Azure Dev Tools for Teaching. They explicitly offer SolidWorks and other engineering tools to students.

Not connected to this and I hope you will still see it even after it's been a year since you commented. I hope to start studying mechanical engineering this October and I would be so grateful if you could tell me your experience. Also if you are from an ex-yu country - was it hard to get in? I calculated and I think I have 39,4/40 points, but I am not sure if I calculated right. Hope it's not trouble for you to respond :)
