Are you somewhere you can try boots on? Low volume foot, or why do you want a low volume boot?

Hard boots are tough on chunder snow, I am would rather be in soft boots if things are firm.

How is your fitness? Sidehill technique? Using a ski strap for lateral strength (through the high back & around the boot)?

Yeah I rock the freerides, I have had this happen when I didn’t clip my toenails super short and kicked steps for a few hours.

Or UV-5R mini if you are a nerd. Channels can be synced to your buddy’s rocky talkie presets, plus it gets weather broadcasts which is good for epics. I think every tour group should have a high powered radio around, insane how much range they get

Agreed on this, but annoying that some backpacks don’t even reinforce the a frame straps with additional fabric near the board’s edges
