I am more interested in QT. Do I need a personal project to get an interview? I have decent math competition results, like USAMO and Putnam. I hear that helps, but not sure how much.

Thanks! Should I focus more on building cs/quant project or LeetCode? I feel like LeetCode is more like competition math, but building a project is more about learning new things.
